Center Harbor Solar Shares Project Completed

NH Solar Shares built it’s third solar array in Center Harbor NH. The concept behind NH Solar Shares is simple. Once operational 100% of the electricity produced by these solar systems is credited to the electric bills of families in need of assistance. In 2020 and 2021 the first two arrays generated $12,263 of power with was distributed among 21 families. This third array is built on the property of Lakes Region Conservation Trust in Center Harbor.

This latest array will assist 12 families from the towns of Center Harbor, Holderness, Mountonboro, or Sandwich.

This third array, like the first two, is made possible by grants and donations by individual donors. $156,000 was raised for this project. The New Hampshire Electric COOP matched donations up to $10,000.
