Driver Speed Survey
The New Hampshire Departments of Safety and Transportation, along with the New Hampshire Chiefs of Police Association have established a collaborative work group to address the issue of excessive highway speeds and the culture of speeding on New Hampshire streets and highways. As part of that effort, we have created a brief survey meant to gather data related to drivers’ understanding of and attitude toward speed, speed enforcement, and other speed related issues. The survey data will be used to develop strategies for engineering, enforcement, and education efforts to reduce the number of speed related crashes, especially those that result in injury or even death.
