Chief's Message | Town of Center Harbor NH

I would like to welcome you to the Town of Center Harbor, New Hampshire. We are located near the geographical center of the state and are part of the picturesque lakes region area. Center Harbor borders four major lakes: Squam, Waukewan, Winona, and Winnipesaukee as well as five towns and two counties. We have two large conservation areas both offering miles of walking trails for your enjoyment. Center Harbor is a tourist destination that experiences a population explosion in the summer and weekends year round. We are also winter home of the M.S. Mount Washington.

I am honored to lead the Center Harbor Police Department. We are a well trained group of law enforcement professionals that work as a team and enjoy serving our residents and guests. The Police Department consists of four full-time officers, including the Chief of Police, Sergeant and two Patrol Officers. Additionally we have two part-time employees, an Administrative Assistant and a Prosecutor. Our dispatch services are provided by the Belknap County Sheriff’s Office located in Laconia, who dispatch for 10 communities.
